My plan is to] a video card made by a manufacturer add quite different [from my current video card to my system ... How important is) the problems with Windows Vista Display Driver from two different video cards at once (in the opinion of the Tri-Performance Monitors disadvantages both cards?

Catalyst drivers are for many different NVIDIA GPU.

Do not use SLI or crossfire.You separate cards and monitors and multiple monitors can run on each card.
