If my driver's license is suspended in Ohio, can I get a new one in Michigan? - lost ohio drivers license
I have my license in Ohio for driving without insurance, already has suspended the license. I paid my reinstatement fee and insurance. I was told that I will be on suspension, while the court to request a work permit. The problem is that I have a job in MI. I did the job offer is conditional on whether or not I can drive to / from work. I've heard that my permissions are not retained by the state to state and I'm not stuck on being able to drive when moving from OH, until my suspension. I have also heard that if MI is a state in which I'm looking for a license, even if the license is suspended OH. I'm trying to get more information and to see if anyone knows what is true. Thank you.
